Well, try to beat this lyric —

You can’t jump a jet plane
Like you can a freight train

No, it’s not a cover. Lightfoot wrote the song. It feels like a cover, it’s so good, must have been written by the old guys, right? No.

Wow. That is a great song. It’s a cover? I’ve never heard him do that one. Man, artists will kill you with their greatness.
If you're referring to "Early Morning Rain", yes, it is a great song. But what I posted is not a "cover", but a song written by Gordon Lightfoot. And which does have several covers done by some notable people. THIS guy, for example ;) ...........

I have a small apartment and not enough room for all my books/cds/dvds, so some of them are behind others, and I tend to forget about them. Going through some of the "hidden" ones, I just found and listened to Chu Chin Chow, an early English musical based on Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves. It opened in 1916 and was London's longest-running West End musical of its time, a record unsurpassed for 40 years.

Evil Abu Hasan kills Chinese merchant Chu Chin Chow, and then impersonates him at the home of Ali Baba's brother Kasim, in order to try to steal Kasim's wealth. Kasim is later killed by Abu Hasan. On the way to the happy ending (for Ali Baba at least), there is boiling oil, intrigue, stabbing, and assorted mayhem. A slave girls betrays Abu Hasan and saves the day.

The music is very pleasant. When the show premiered on Broadway in 1917, Abu Hasan was played by Tyrone Power, Sr. My cd is from a more recent British production.

A film was made in 1934, with Anna May Wong. It's on YouTube.

Here's the title song, though not from a cast album:
