Kathleen (1941)

Kathleen (1941) is a film that is being shown on TCM on Wednesday. The stars are Shirley Temple, Herbert Marshall and Laraine Day. Has anyone ever seen this movie and would you recommend it to those who like those actors?

I saw it some years ago..I had to refresh my memory about the plot. It was ok, nothing great from what I remember. It was probably a good bridge film for Shirley, something with which she could transition into adolscence, something that wasn't a frothy musical comedy.

I agree with Goddess, the idea of it is very good, but the movie doesn't really run with it. Still, it's worth looking at.
