Round 4: SSO Favorite Director #1 Hitchcock & #5 Powell

Post by ChiO »

It's the Battle of Britain!

Psycho vs. Peeping Tom. Vertigo meets The Edge of the World.

Will The Red Shoes climb The Thirty-Nine Steps? I Know Where I'm Going, but is it North by Northwest?

Is there a Shadow of a Doubt that it's A Matter of Life and Death?

Poll closes at the time shown above.

This one was the easier of the two for me, Powell's films just amaze me.

Well, CCF, there's you and me and -- quite frankly, my dear, again more than I anticipated in this match-up.

Of course I'll play by the rules...until Powell is in the lead.

If Hitchcock and Powell remained tied by next Monday; its looks like a repeat of what happen in Round 2 and we'll have a three way horse race with these two Directors and Howard Hawks. I don't think ChiO is not going to be happy about it. We have three days left in this poll and its going to be very interesting in the next three days with this pairing of Alfred Hitchcock and Micheal Powell.

Howard Hawks verses Hitchcock or Powell ... or even both :?:

Stay Tuned :!:

Oh, if it's tied (or even close), it must be a result of some shenanigans and alleged voter fraud. Martial law will be declared and the legitimate winner will be proclaimed.

All done objectively, with high moral principles and without bias, for the Good of the People Assembled.

(Don't worry, CCF, it's in the bag.)
