Nothin', not havin' nothin' for dinner. Sick of dinner. Come Thursday I'll be on a strict diet of hot dogs, peanuts, and cracker jacks. I don't care if I ever get back.

I made a pizza two nights ago & am still having it for dinner.
Whole wheat dough with all fresh garlic, spinach, mushrooms & kalamata olives plus ricotta & mozzarella cheese.

It's SPRING! Next pizza will have dandelions instead of spinach and garlic fresh from the garden.

Chicken thighs with onions, potatoes, carrots and rosemary. Very easy to make one-dish meal:

Have a deep dish backing pan; place thighs into the pan and sprinkle some spices on each side (I use smoked paprika, salt and pepper). Put in the potatoes, onions and carrots. Take rosemary stalks and place on top of the chicken. Place foil over the pan and bake at 375 for around 50 minutes. Remove rosemary, turn over the chicken and broil for another 10 minutes. (This last step can be skipped but I like a little char on mine). Note that use small potatoes (or cut them in half), cut the onions in half or quarters (unless using pearl onions), and the carrots into finger size sticks.

Takes around 8 minutes to prepare so I get it ready while TCM is between movies and let it bake during the movie!

Prepped for tonight: Italian venison sausage slices with veggies (onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, broccoli, zucchini, roma tomatoes). Stir fry; season with oregano, basil, rosemary, thyme, smoked papricka, garlic, onion powder. Top with mozzarella (nuke to melt)

I haven't a clue in the kitchen.
That is where the big box is with cold food in it.
Does the light really go out when you close the door? <grin>
I do know to look inside the other big box and make sure it is empty before turning it on.
Brick, from "The Middle," (TV Show) didn't know Mom used the oven for storage.
That said, your recipe (Diane) sounds like it would work out well as a pizza.
I've seen the JJG recipe used with Cornish Game Hens.
I have to laugh at Thompson's idea of baseball food for dinner.
We have Beer Nuts to complement beer.
We need Champagne Nuts. I can't figure out what kind though.

Well if you are going to drink champagne I would suggest a fancy nut dipped in chocolate. One nut per bottle. I also want to go on record in favor of chilli as a baseball staple. Because beans are a good source of fiber so you want to buy your canned chilli with beans

According to "Eating Well," macadamia nuts go well with sparkling wine.
I think they could dip in chocolate.
As for beans:

If you know what you’re doing, well, then you do

If you know what you’re doing, if you’ve been around the block, you know how to cook your eggs in bacon grease. You keep the bacon fat in a Folgers coffee can. Or Maxwell House. Just a tad it takes to fry the eggs. Don’t be too stingy with the grease because you will need it as an aid in flipping the egg over. Practice makes perfect. What kind of meat to go with? Very important. Sausage, (links, patties, or fresh?), more bacon?, a thin sliced steak, ham, . . . or pork chops?? Well, let’s go with the pork chops for sure! Add some hominy grits with Cajun gravy, some butter beans, a good whopping of mashed taters just in case, and a big slice of Texas toast.

LOL Kay, I’m just trying to find something I can eat, or want to eat. Lights are out at 9 where I live so no tv after that sometimes I hide the cell phone to post here. The Sonic commercials work, that little dude on Burger King is kinda funny. But yeah, I want calories, if you don’t eat you are going to die. So I work my appetite up through these commercials, and I take the bus to the place and it’s a bummer and a drag and needless to say I think, I’m never going to order from here again, I can’t live like this. Then tomorrow I do the same damn thing.

I think I’ve squirreled away a can of corned beef hash somewhere in the kitchen, but since “lights are out” I’ll never find it tonight. Think breakfast, that’s what I tell myself now. There’s more light and less complaining from the grandstands.
