Was actually thinking of something along the lines of say 'Broadway Melody of 1936' when I said "in a revue format" earlier here Sepia, as I don't recall ADID having any "revue" aspect to it (i.e. a series of performances filmed on a stage) and is as I recall more a musical done in a narrative manner.
