Not applicable here, though. She's left him behind, you see. No "sharing" going on.

Every breath you take — right. Nobody watches when you can’t breathe anymore.

I’ve been musing and pondering lately, ruminating a little bit, and I’ve come up stuck. That’s how the expression Stick in the Mud came about. Now, if you’re lucky, real lucky, you’ll find a gal who takes off her skin (ain’t no sin) and dances around in her bones. (T. Waits)

No, she’s okay. I’m a little short (of breath). Allllll these bad habits are running up my spine and taking a toll. Think I’ll crack open a fresh beer, go sit on the porch, and smoke a factory made cigarette. You can’t beat them factory mades.

But women CAN be a bit more flexible. If of course, it's to their advantage.
And remember the adage:
"Cats don't have owners. They have STAFF."

Cats are simply fascinating. I can go out and sit on the old man bench with my beer and cigarettes and pass the time of day, if it’s not raining or too cold, and never get bored, even when they are sleeping. Do they like me? Probably so but that question is moot. They are THERE, that’s what counts. Every cat that hangs around is feral, or used to be. And they come and go, most die of old age then new ones appear. Some stay a couple days and others forever.

One musing: I've seen some ads in between films on TCM that suggests that channel management is willing to call a film a classic if it opened at least 25 years ago. It seems somewhat surprising, although I guess it means that the whopping majority of what I've seen would qualify on the channel.

Sorry guys, but I've been under the weather again (so what else is new) -- I'll be back soon to ruminate about Sandy Baron, Edward G. Robinson's unfortunate romantic screen connections, etc. etc. etc.
Hello, Miss Wonderly! Lovely to see you! Thank you for the kind words about this thread.
Pondering who else loves LOCAL HERO and what do y'all think about LAST EMBRACE?
