Hopefully they do a massive sale dump and offer these to people. I'm sure a lot of them are scratched and terribly damaged, but it's still a huge trove of films that aren't always easy to find these days (some are out of print and can't be purchased new anymore).

I hope so, too! Most of the gems of my DVD collection came from a video store that was going out of business.

Lol. I wouldn't want them if they don't have a case. I'm not into collecting loose discs.

Lol! Netflix should donate them to libraries or something. Or sell them cheap online. I'm assuming the original cases were lost, or maybe Netflix bought the discs in bulk somehow from the distributors and never had discs--not sure how that works. There are probably a lot of discs that are scratched as well.

I wouldn't want them if they don't have cases and/or the discs are in rough shape. I like my DVDs/Blu Rays looking nice.

That's interesting that RedBox offered to buy the DVD part of Netflix's business; but were turned down multiple times. To me, that seems like a good way to make some money and keep that aspect of the business going, as well as help out RedBox. It seems like it'd be a coup for both companies.
