Most Overrated Noir

I was let down by " Decoy ". It was alright, but after all the hype I expected much more.

Most overrated noir in my opinion is the Siodmak version of THE KILLERS. Except for the first ten minutes and Ava Gardner...Dull, dull, dull. It looks nice, though. But looks aren't always enough.
Sorry you weren't taken with DECOY, Ken. Poverty Row films like that can be an acquired taste: they seem to operate with a logic all their own. The stuff that nightmares are made of, I guess.

I also think The Killers is overated. Starts out great and then I just fall asleep.
