Sammy died of throat cancer.

And I'm sure Frank's later health was compromised by excessive tobacco use.

As for Peter, well, I suppose we'll never know what would have caused his eventual "natural" fate.

Yes, but which if he hadn't succumbed to may have led to a respiratory ailment.

BTW: When I worked with Dolores Fuller on her autobiography and she talked about her period dating (briefly) Sinatra, she of course mentioned the so-called Rat Pack. She said she liked all the boys, but that Peter Lawford was the most special. As she put it, he was the most charming and they shared a romance that was not truly a romance.

Suppose ultimately he was also the most tragic.

That would seem to be so, Western Guy. He also had to camouflage one of his hands in every scene he filmed.

Indeed. Did he not have an accident where his arm went through a glass window or something?

Very tragic man, Peter was. Ousted from Frank's circle, an eventually fatal descent into booze and drugs. Not a glamorous ending for someone primed to be one of MGM's shining stars.

western guy.....Sally Fraser was in North by Northwest as the UN receptionist. You had to be quick to catch her.

She also did Sci-Fi like the one you mentioned.

Gee, maybe this was something that Eve did, though I never heard of it before. The only photographer I think did a series of such images using celebrities of every stripe was Philippe Halsman, many of whose images were first published in Life Magazine. You can see lots of these photos here.
Thank you Moira, I have a book on Marilyn which attributes the jumping pictures of Monroe to Eve Arnold and states that there are a series of pictures that she took and all along it was Phillippe Halsman, that's bad research in my book.
