Re: What are you listening to?
Thought of Los Angeles second... HOLE were a band I might listen to. It was in the 90s I got less interested in records and bought few.
I was still buying CDs at a fairly good clip back then, more than I do now. I now listen to albums on YT that I'll probably not buy,
for one reason or another.

They did a good job mixing the more pop sounding songs with the more punky ones. The albums are
very solid with little filler. The background of the cover is a bit reminiscent of that of the first X album.
Wow, this brought back memories of a childhood listening to music tracks at Borders Books Music Cafe (RIP).
I listened to the title track from the CELEBRITY SKIN album many, many times.
People can say what they will about Courtney Love, but she is a gifted lyricist.
An early AIM screen name of mine ---- HookerWaitress --- was taken from the lyrics of "Celebrity Skin."

Sometime YouTube is the only way to hear stuff, like this:
Yeah, that takes one right back to 1970s early metal, though I've never heard of this band, which
doesn't mean much. I listen to albums that I missed when they first came out and favorites I haven't
heard in a while. YT is a great place to find all kinds of things.
