I found this at one of my other forums. Apparently this guy's instrument was broken by United Airlines and they refused to admit responsibility. He had no other recourse but to write a song (and make a funny video)...

The DJ really tried, amidst all the clatter, to find just the side that would
matter. Here he is, Mr. CLYDE McPHATTER.

...reminds me of the old Tom Paxton song...

Tom Paxton - Thank You Republic Airlines

Here's someone else mourning the loss of his guitar. I was at this concert. That's me in the twelfth row, Hi.
Loudon Wainwright III - Red Guitar

The opening titles video used to be on U-Toob but somebody pulled it. So this will have to do -

Jerry Goldsmith - Theme from 'Chinatown' opening titles.

Best wishes

Ok, I have to confess....I'm a Pat Boone fan....or thought I was. I recently DVR'd Bernadine, and watched a teenaged dream crash and burn. The movie was simply awful, and I couldn't even watch the whole thing. BUT...in the middle of the carnage, look what I found!! (stick with it thru the opening sequence, JACK COSTANZA is fabulous!)

DJ's Dewmeister and K......estupendo!

do you remember all the early 50's movies that featured or at least mentioned Bongos? Even Kate Hepburn gave her "fiance", Gig Young, a set for Christmas in Desk Set. Both of my older brothers drove my parents crazy, pounding on any flat service..... :D
