Did I miss something when my computer was down? Are there no longer any birthdays to be shown? That was my first stop whenever I tuned in to this site and I sorely miss them.

Well that was a shock for me - to see the photo of Lois Nettleton having passed away in 2008. She was truly one of my favorites, I always looked for her when I knew there was going to be an unlucky lady who would lose the leading man, why is(?), is a good question. Often she was much prettier than the leading lady, had a better sense of humor, and was often lady like as well as being able to handle crises. I loved her 'way back in Jane Fonda's first showcase - Period of Adjustment, and on through all of her TV guest spots and movie appearances never getting that one role that shoud have put her up there on the "A" list.
