I really liked The Glass Wall, though I do understand your feeling it was preachy Tee. It IS, but I guess I liked the message. it's really beautiful, I wonder if New York is only beautiful in black and white?
I have seen only Bitter Rice and The Glass Wall, but I also saw a wonderful British documentary called TO BE HAMLET here but THE GREAT HAMLETS in Britain. Trevor Nunn went around the world and talked to acclaimed actors about portraying the Dane. Vittorio was one of them, and there are clips of his performance. It's a really fascinating show, and is quite illuminating about Shakespeare's play. The other actors who were interviewed were: Richard Burton, John Gielgud, Laurence Olivier, Maximilian Schell (who actually translated the play into German), Innokenty Smoktunovsky, Jean Louis Barrault, and Ben Kingsley. It's anything but dull.
