Next : soldier returning home from a war
The Best Years of Our Lives (Fredric March)

Next: a film noir about this same subject
Somewhere in the Night

Next : a soldier or sailor or marine returning home from a war
Well, and not that I'm seeing much of a difference in this question from your previous one here KF, but I'll now offer up (and in honor of Black History Month) Home of the Brave (starring James Edwards...and who unfortunately seems somewhat forgotten now days)

Next: putting on a play

Peterloo (2018) -- a movie about a great tragedy. Shame this film did not get more play.

What's the problem, just asking for other films, this time including the navy and the marines not just the army. There certainly were plenty.

This is kind of obscure, but that's just how my mind works. I immediately thought of the short "A Case of Spring Fever," as riffed by MST3K. This video links to the specific part of the film involving golf.

I suppose the only "problem" in this case was that I didn't understand that you were asking for another example, that's all.

And maybe because you didn't put the word "another" in your second one.

(...I'm easily confused sometimes, ya know) ;)

OT, sorry. Norfious, I notice the video did not start from the beginning. There is an option to do this on Ytube vids but they don't always work when you see it posted. I tried it here but it didn't work. It did work at TCM. How did you do that? Or did you simply use the Ttube option thanks.

To all, see above for clue from Norfious. And sorry for the intrusion.

Brighton Beach

PS. My original question only asked for a soldier returning from war, my next question included a sailor and marine, so it was not the same question, therefore
" Another " was not needed LOL

Next : Raymond Burr as a villain
