Dust off your six-shooters, choose the Top-Gun Western ever!
Hi all!
Amazon.com have a shop for Columbia Westerns. On that particular shop page you can vote for Columbias next Western DVD releases.
This is the URL:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html/r ... d_i=163312
I've voted for three Columbia films:
The Guns of Fort Petticoat (1957)
The Tall T (1957)
Gunman's Walk (1958)
Have a look at this IMDb list of Columbia films and choose your favourites:

Hope many of you will do like me and vote.
We need more westerns on DVD, even though it's not Warner films.

I have barely recovered from having to choose between
"Liberty Valance"and "Mockingbird" for Best Film.
If I end up having to choose between "Liberty Valance" and "The Searchers" I may hurt someone.
I'm just saying......

Get ready because that's exactly what we're going to have to do, I'm almost sure of it.
Shall we start choosing now? I think Klondike is big enough to take it, too bad we've lost
Kyle back to TCM.

I just pulled copies of all of the currently posted lists. there are 22 of them. If any of you go in and change your lists before midnight tonight please PM me so I can pull your revised list to replace the old one. Also, anyone that hasn't contributed a list yet feel free to join the party. The more lists the better. I'll be working on the votes over the weekend to determine which 32 films make it into the pool and let the seedings determine the match-ups!

Hi Chris:
Thanks for the heads up. I can't believe I went back to recheck and can't
think of a single one I want to change. Besides the fact that I wrote it on
the second day of the time frame, I guess those are truly my favorite
westerns.

Anne,
I looked at my list and I feel the same way. It would be harder for me to change it now than it was to come up with the original list.
For those who like numbers, from the lists that are currently posted we have had 138 different films nominated and of those 64 have multiple votes. There's still 8 hours to add a list if you haven't compiled one yet.

Okay, I've got it narrowed down to the final 32 films. Every film that got in received at least 3 votes and there was one film, Silverado, that received 3 votes but had the lowest average so it is not in the competition. I need to figure out all the seedings and then I'll list all 32 films in order some time later this weekend.
