The New York Times and other media outlets are reporting that commentator Lou Dobbs is leaving CNN.

No real surprise. I heard Fox Business Channel was talking to him.

I can remember his days on non-cable news, when he appeared to be rational and sane. I pay little attention to him now, and if he goes to Fox I'll ignore him completely. Demagoguery can do insidious things to people -- just look what happened to Oprah.
