Great segue, Sir Dew. Ohio was full of garages, and those garages
were full of bands.

Tucked away in an industrial area not too faraway, is a small ancient
bar that is home to our favorite troubadour every Monday night. Last
night his featured guest was Kelly Hogan, with a surprise appearance
by Nora O'Connor.

I think I met Robbie Fulks a couple of times. Really tall? Guitar and banjo? We called him Rob. I gather he's done quite well!

Probably 6'4" or taller, thin, with what seems to be a perpetual grin. Forty-eight years old (just missed being a Pisces). Started out in bluegrass (Special Consensus founded by Greg Cahill). Plays a mean guitar. Should be far better known.

One thing for sure about this thread is the sheer number of different artists (musical) from different eras and genre. I often write down the songs names and listen to them on You Tube when I'm done with Silver Screen Oasis for the day. Earlier on this thread there were a You Tube Post of Maynard Ferguson ... MacArthur Park. I met Maynard Ferguson once (can't remember when) at an JFK Airport. He was coming in and I was on my way home to Seattle. We talked for a minute or two and I told him that MacArthur Park is one of my favorite songs that he did in his career. He smiled (and happy too) and we left on good terms. He was pretty easy guy to talk to. He loves his fans!

But, anyway ... I love this thread and being a by-product from 1965 to Present ... I love listening to music. This thread is one amazing thread!

One, more thing ... keep these tunes coming!
