Mirth time!

Post by klondike »

In-between bad TV, left-over stuffing (thank the Gods for salt pork!) and the seasonal avalanche of catalogues, I thought we could all do with some mindless cackles, snorts & belly-laughs - this time from a current round of slogans offered on mail-order T-shirts (I don't wear 'em myself, only cuz I figger if I am disallowed to stare @ women's chests for any reason, we should make it a level playing field!)

PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE DEVICE AROUND MY ANKLE

ROOT BEER - A cruel, cruel hoax!

I SPILL THINGS

as a matter of fact - I DID SLEEP IN THESE CLOTHES

I'M NOT BOSSY, I JUST KNOW WHAT YOU SHOULD BE DOING

I DRIVE WAY TOO FAST TO WORRY ABOUT CHOLESTEROL

EMBARRASSING MY CHILDREN: just one more service I'm happy to offer

UNAPOLOGETIC FLATULATOR

DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU THINK

Am I getting older, or is the supermarket playing great music?

If I'm talking, you should be taking notes!

LUNCH LADIES ARE HOT

Careful, or you'll end up in my novel.

CAT- the other white meat

HEAVILY MEDICATED FOR YOUR SAFETY

Call Poison Control: MOM'S COOKING

i have no idea what i'm doing out of bed

Blame the Y chromosome

FORGET WORLD PEACE: visualize using your turn signal

I took the Road Less Traveled, and got to work on time.

REPUBLICANS FOR VALDEMORT

sometimes I wonder: WHY IS THAT FRISBEE GETTING BIGGER
. . . and then it hits me . .

I HAVEN'T BEEN QUITE RIGHT SINCE THEY TOOK MY BLANKIE . .

( and finally, my personal favorite . . )

"MOM, DAD . . I'M GAELIC!"

My father has a sticker of a stickman staggering around with a stein full of beer in each hand and the text reads at the top "farfrompuken"

I was given a T-Shirt that reads, "My weekend job: Let the dog out, Let the dog in, Let the dog out, Let the dog in"

This is a great thread! I'm particularly taken with the "FORGET WORLD PEACE: visualize using your turn signal" as a bumper sticker, the "farfrompuken" one from Bogie, and Nancy's "my weekend job" one. Thanks, guys. You really made my early morning day quite a bit brighter.

A while back, I saw a picture of a cat saying: "You only think I'm cute because I'm not big enough to kill you."
