Wow, Charlie, I'm amazed that you can be a citizen of Ye Olde Dog Pound, and still even say (or type) the name "Art Modell"! That's kinda like saying Neil O'Donnell within earshot of a Steelers fan . . . or like bringing up to any loyal Cheesehead that annoying jerk from Mis'sippi who use...

Don't worry about the Raven safeties. Ed Reed will be out for a while after hip surgery, so the amount of "dirty" hits will be reduced dramatically. (OK, I'm a die-hard Browns fan. You can forward this down to Art Modell.)

Thursday nights, Anne. Usually right after CSI: Crime Scene Investigation . He's British, but you wouldn't know it from hearing his lack of an accent - just like Hugh Laurie on House . Occasionally, it's shown before and after CSI during the summer rerun season. I like the show very much and enjoy t...

Re: What are you listening to?
I've been listening to many different genres of music at a free jukebox site at http://www.tropicalglen.com . It offers several years from 1950 to 1989 with top 40 tunes in either 5 year chunks or individual years. It also offers different categories such as classical, swing, country, show tunes, mo...

The four Goldberg brothers,Lowell, Norman, Hiram, and Max, invented and developed the first automobile air-conditioner. On July 17, 1946, the temperature in Detroit was 97 degrees. The four brothers walked into old man Henry Ford's office and sweet-talked his secretary into telling him that four gen...

Re: Is it important for factual films to get their facts right
With the recent passing of Fess Parker, it reminds me that both he and John Wayne stood about a foot taller than the real Davy Crockett. Even Arthur Hunnicutt, who played Crockett in The Last Command, stood at an even 6 feet tall. I guess sometimes the facts don't measure up to the legend.
