Re: Musicals as a Genre

For what it's worth, I still think a "musical" is a movie that has its performers breaking out in song and dance for no particular reason with no one else finding it odd or out of place. Others that are generally catergorized as "musicals" are merely movies with a great deal of i...

Re: I'm Dickens, He's Fenster per IMDB: Sitcom about two young blue-collar carpenters: the married one Harry Dickens, and the bachelor Arch Fenster (with his 'little black book'). Harry longs for the excitement of Fenster's bachelor life - but Harry's wife Kate won't permit it. At work they also fin...

Al Pacino in ... And Justice For All, John Payne in Miracle on 34th St., Robert Duvall in The Godfather and Henry Fonda in Young Mr. Lincoln. (Of course, my favorite is Peck in Mockingbird.)

Re: "JackFavell" It's Her Birthday

Wendy, you can doodle to your heart's content. Thanks, Anne. It's certainly sad to lose someone on or about a time associated with pleasant memories. My mother-in-law died on the anniversary of our daughter being released from the neonatal unit of OSU hospital - a date we always celebrated. We haven...
